18 explosion-proof magnetic level gauges for tank storage in Austria

Hadro recently manufactured 18 explosion-proof magnetic level sensors for the expansion of a tank storage project in Austria. The tanks are used, among other things, for the storage of oil, diesel, and wastewater.

Magnetic Level Gauges They operate on the principle of communicating vessels, so the level in the measuring tube is equal to the level in the tank. Inside the measuring tube is a float containing a ring magnet. The float floats on the medium and transmits the liquid level via the " wafers " on the outside of the measuring tube.

The wafers s change from white (no liquid) to red (liquid present). This magnetic field can also be used to control a switch for your alarm system or pump control, or to directly generate an analog (4–20 mA) signal.
